Steamboat Lift Tickets
 Steamboat pioneered the first Kids Ski Free program back in 1982, setting the standard in the industry. Steamboat’s Kids/GrandKids Ski Free programs, valid the entire season, enable children 6-12 years of age to ski free the same number of days as their parents or grandparents when a parent or grandparent purchases a 5-or-more-day lift ticket. This offer is on a one-to-one basis, with one free child per paid adult. Remember, children 5 years old and younger always ski FREE in Steamboat!

Proof of age (birth certificate, driver’s license, college student ID, etc.) is required for those buying passes with age restrictions.

Kids Ski Free
Steamboat's Kids Ski Free Program enables children 12 years of age and under to ski free the same number of days as their parents when parents or grandparents purchase a 5-or-more-day lift ticket. This offer is on a one-to-one basis, with one free child ticket per paid parent.
Proof of Age
Proof of age is required of all 11-and12-year-olds and kids who appear that age to the ticket agent in order to receive Kids Ski Free. If proof of age is not provided, the parent will be required to purchase lift tickets at regular rates. If at a later point in time proof of age is provided (birth certificate, passport, etc.) a full refund will be made.
Procedure
To receive Kids Ski Free, parents should bring the following to the Main Ticket Office in the Gondola Building: all kids who are participating in these programs, appropriate proof of age as required and each qualifying parent's 5-or-more-day lift ticket.
